There are so many people telling others how to become a Christian, how to live a righteous life, and the things they say can't even be found in God's Word (the Bible).

We must understand that God means what He says, and says what He means. After all, it was God who made man in His image and after His likeness, and God gave man dominion (charge) over all the animals in the universe. God made man to think, to love, to have compassion, and also God gave man freedom of choice to love and serve Him or reject Him and serve Satan.

Yes God made man with just a little dust from the earth, and now man thinks he has become smarter, more intelligent, and more practical than his Creator, trying to tell God what to do. Yes, you heard me right. Man even comes out with his own versions of the Bible..

God's Word is a roadmap to heaven. Why not just follow it? Why not let God speak and just listen and obey? Why not be like Samuel of long ago ("speak Lord and thy servant will obey")?

Would Naaman's leprosy have been healed if he would have dipped six times in Jordan instead of seven, which Elisha, the man of God, had instructed him? What if he had gone to some other body of water and dipped seven times, would the leprosy have been cleansed? Of course not! (2 Kings 5).

We study in God's Word how that Jesus Himself gave us an example of what and how to take His supper, celebrating His death until He returns again (Matthew 26:26). We have so-called preachers today telling folks that unleavened bread and fruit of the vine are not necessary in dining with the Lord at His table. One preacher on television a couple of weeks ago said, " Having a cracker or a Nab would be okay for the Lord's body, and Coke, Pepsi or water would be sufficient for His blood."

Why, the devil never had a better friend than these so-called preachers. They are leading thousands down the road that leads to destruction, and they think the preacher is right, that they are children of, God, but in reality they are serving Satan.

Read your Bible and you will know what God wants you to do. If you can't read, call me and I'll make arrangements to read it to you. Don't be fooled by these false teachers. They don't know the way, don't study God's Word, they think they are going to get a message whispered to them in a vision.

We can't rely upon anyone when our life and eternity are in question. Go right to God's Word and see what Jesus has to say about salvation, about going to heaven. Jesus knows the way, He has already traveled from earth to heaven, and He's coming back again to gather all the redeemed and take them home forever.
