"The Lord has made everything for its own purpose, Even the wicked for the day of evil." This quote from Proverbs 16 at first glance would tend to make the Christian quickly rustle for a defense against God ejecting, certain individuals from birth to an eternal destruction (a day of evil). In context of verses one through nine the scriptures teach that man has a choice. It is not that God puts His finger on a new born babe choosing him to damnation before he even lives his life. Based then upon choices, son will either be pleasing or displeasing to God. But whatever the decision made, God will have His design and purpose accomplished. There will be no loose ends, no spare parts or leftovers, no undeparted spirits, ghosts stuck between this world and the next God has a plan and it is complete. This was designed before the foundation of the world. What mystery is this? Simple. Those who believe and obey the Christ will be saved; those who reject Him will be lost Both of end results are determined by man's choke, me only parts mat have been predetermined are these two destinations of which you can travel either road - the wide or the narrow, belief or unbelief; in Christ or outside of Christ - you choose! Have you chosen the prepared works of God, or are your works selfish means to your own ends?

Whichever direction you take is up to you, but know this: you cannot avert God's will from being accomplished. Look at Pharaoh who wanted it all! He thought himself as a god and king of Egypt, but no matter what he chose for himself against God's people, God was sure to glorify His own name even in the midst of Pharaoh's denial of Him. "The mind of man plans his way, But the Lord directs his steps" (Pro 16:9). Have you ever considered the story of Zedekiah in Jeremiah 37? "For even if you had defeated the entire army of Chaldeans who were fighting against you, and there were only wounded men left among them, each man in his tent, they would rise up and burn this city with fire." No matter what Judah would do, fortify their city, bread thousands of horses, construct hundreds of chariots, no matter their determination to find victory over the Chaldeans, God would defeat the Israelites even if He had to raise up a few wounded soldiers, His will would be accomplished. No one could stop Him. The Battle belongs to me Lord.

With this outstanding and stop dead in your tracks truth, knowing that it is impossible to change the truth of God, to alter his eternal plans, maybe you should consider what choices you have been making as to whether they are in accord with the Almighty or not. Judgment day is inescapable, and there it will be determined what battle you have chosen to fight, good or evil. Consequences of your life choices will be appointed to you - no matter what! So perhaps a choice should be made to redirect your ways, plans, works and attention to those specific things that will glorify me Father. Follow in His steps! Shine as the Light! Ultimately, be like Jesus!
