Our Lord entered into a sin sick world. He left the splendor and riches
of Heaven and came down to this world that was so wrapped up in sin, that it was just like coming to a cesspool.
Our Lord came and brought
the remedy for all our problems. The remedy for sin could be tight at one’s fingertips. When Christ died on Calvary, He shed His blood
to take away the sins of the whole world. All man had to do was follow Jesus’ instructions – Find out how to get
into the Blood that He shed on Calvary and wash away all his sins.
Man has never wanted to walk hand in hand with God. Man wants to make it his own, no help from anyone, and this also
includes his Creator.
While God wanted that fellowship,
that closeness, a father and son relationship to walk and talk in the cool of the evening, man wanted to be separate from
God.
Our Lord entered into a
sick world!
The first man Adam had
already experienced murder and the death of his son Abel. No doubt this was the first big shocker of the fruit of sin.
Ten generations and we
see God talking to Noah, sorrow in His heart that He made man, because every thought of mans heart was continually EVIL. Man
had no room in his heart for the Righteousness of God. Only evil.
We come down through time
until we come to father Abraham and we see the city where Abraham’s nephew Lot was
living. This city was turned to sexual perversion. God came down to look at this city, to see if the report/cry that came
up before Him was altogether right. After a study of those people in that city, so God rained down fire and brimstone and
destroyed that city altogether and forever.
Our Lord entered a sick
world!
As we travel on down through
time we see those on the earth that say we are the great ones and they try to build a tower from the earth to heaven. God
confounds their language and their tower came to naught. They could have walked with God, they could have had to put distance
between them and God.
On down through time we
see God’s people oppressed, thrown into a lion’s den, fiery furnace, and the list goes on and on.
Our Lord entered a sick
world!
Our Lord came into the
world, He was sought after be the king to take His life. Run out of the cities for preaching peace and love! Telling all those
precious souls about the kingdom of God.
Then finally, after teaching
for about 3-1/2 years at the young age of 33-1/2, they took our Lord gave a mock trial, His back was beaten until it was torn
to pieces, put spikes in His hands and feet, pushed a crown of thorns on His head, ridiculed, mocked, spit upon, nailed Him
on a cross between two thieves, speared His side and out flowed blood and water.
And while our Lord was
dying there, in all this pain, He prayed to the Father saying, “Forgive then, they know not what they do.”
Yes, our Lord came into
a sick world.
Are we any better today?
Our legislature in Washington can’t get together and agree that it is wrong to have
same-sex marriages; that abortion is nothing short of murder; and, everyone should have the right to be taught of God in our
schools etc. After all, God made the world and His very word holds it intact today.
Our government officials
need to quit worrying about losing a vote and start standing up for what is right. Go out and buy them a King James Bible
and then they will have enough good sense to lead our nation, if they study it and follow its instructions.
God’s word is true
and is our only hope to put us back on the road to prosperity and morality.
Let God be true and every
man a liar.
It has been almost 2,000
years since our Lord came into this sick world and the world doesn’t seem to be improving. Man seems to be straying
farther and farther from their Creator. They are educated in science, physics etc. but when it comes to God’s word,
they are ignorant as a hog.
We, as a nation, need to
come back to God. Put Him first in every home, walk in His ways, give up all this perverted lifestyle and when we do GOD WILL
BLESS AMERICA.
I pray as a nation we will
seek out the old path and walk therein.
Pray for our nation, for it is in a lost condition.
